Privacy Policy

The short version: MirrorPop doesn't collect, store, or transmit anything. There is no server to send data to, because MirrorPop doesn't have one.

What MirrorPop does

MirrorPop is a lock-screen utility that shows a live front-camera preview inside a rounded overlay anchored to the notch when you press and hold a floating bubble. The preview exists only while you're holding the bubble and disappears the moment you release it.

What we collect

Nothing. MirrorPop has no account system, no backend server, no database, and no analytics software of any kind built in. The app was built to work entirely on your device, with or without an internet connection.

Permissions we ask for, and why

Android requires MirrorPop to request a few permissions to work the way it's designed to. Here's exactly what each one is used for:

Permission What it's for
Camera Shows the live front-camera preview inside the mirror panel. The feed is never recorded or saved.
Draw over other apps Lets the floating bubble and mirror overlay appear on top of your lock screen.
Accessibility Service Used only to detect the lock-screen state so the bubble can appear reliably. It does not read screen content or other apps' data.
Foreground Service Keeps the lock-screen bubble available and responsive, and lets Android show you that MirrorPop is active.

You can review or revoke any of these permissions at any time from your device's Settings app. Doing so may limit or disable the bubble, but won't affect anything else on your phone.

Third parties

MirrorPop doesn't integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics tools. No data is shared with anyone, because none is collected in the first place.

Children's privacy

MirrorPop does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, since it collects no information at all. The app is a general-purpose utility not directed specifically at children.

Data retention

There is nothing to retain. Camera frames are processed only in memory to render the live preview and are discarded immediately after each frame is drawn.

Changes to this policy

If MirrorPop's approach to privacy ever changes, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change. We'll always aim to keep the app as data-light as it is today.

Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using MirrorPop ("the App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the App.

What the App does

MirrorPop provides a floating, lock-screen accessible mirror using your device's front camera, displayed inside a rounded overlay anchored to the notch. The App does not capture photos or videos, does not upload anything, and does not require an account.

License to use

RamaScript grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use MirrorPop on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these terms.

Permissions and acceptable use

No warranty

MirrorPop is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every Android device or version.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RamaScript won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, MirrorPop.

Changes to the App or these terms

We may update MirrorPop or these terms from time to time to improve the experience or reflect changes in how the App works. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Termination

You can stop using MirrorPop at any time by disabling its permissions or uninstalling the App. We may also discontinue the App at our discretion, though we'll aim to give notice where practical.

Governing approach

These terms are meant to be read plainly and in good faith. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
